You are free to choose any hospital in the whole of Switzerland when the new hospital financing directive comes in to force in 2012. However, this is subject to a whole series of conditions. Watch out for dubious insurance agents

Clients repeatedly report to us that more favourable ÖKK offers have been brought to their attention by ÖKK agents. Watch out and ask again. Not everyone pretending to be an ÖKK agent really is one. ÖKK agents can identify themselves with a legitimation card. In any case, please take a note of the agent's name and call your branch office if you feel uncertain.
