Family discount
Children up to 18 years of age receive a 50% discount on the following supplementary insurance policies. Young adults aged between 19 and 25 benefit from a 20% discount on:
- ÖKK HOSPITAL (FLEX MINI, FLEX, SEMI-PRIVATE, PRIVATE, GLOBAL)
- ÖKK NATURE (MINI, MIDI, PLUS)
- ÖKK PREVENTION
- ÖKK SMILE
- ÖKK PARENTS
Requirement for the family discount: At least one parent and the child have taken out ÖKK basic insurance, the ÖKK START supplementary insurance basic module and at least one of the above-mentioned supplementary insurance policies with ÖKK.
Conclude an Option
Concluding ÖKK OPTION guarantees that in future, you will be accepted into our supplementary insurance policies without any restrictions. You have either five or ten years to convert the Option into the selected supplementary insurance policy – and by no later than the age of 65. During the period that ÖKK OPTION runs, you pay 10 to 20 percent of the actual relevant supplementary insurance premium.

Premium discount with prepayment
You usually pay your premiums monthly. You can also pay them in advance on a semi-annual or annual basis. If you pay your premiums on an annual or semi-annual basis, this helps reduce our administrative costs. We pass on these savings directly to you. If you chose to pay in advance either semi-annually or annually, ÖKK grants the following discounts:
- Annual prepayment: 1 % discount
- Semi-annual prepayment: 0.5% discount

- Generics instead of originator products
Generics contain the same active substances and therefore have the same effect as their originator products. However, they are on average 30% cheaper. - Free-of-charge medical advice
