Treatment costs

- Transport, search, rescue and recovery operations

- Translation assistance via the ÖKK emergency call centre
Maximum CHF 250,000 for individuals, CHF 500,000 for families.
Travel legal protection
The insurance covers lawyer, expert and court costs incurred in relation to legal protection claims outside Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. Our partner Coop Rechtsschutz AG supports you with legal claims.

Within Europe, a maximum of CHF 300,000 per case is covered.
Outside Europe, legal protection cases are covered for up to CHF 100,000.

Cancellation costs
The insurance covers the cancellation or additional costs for travel services booked worldwide if you cannot embark upon the trip, if you can only embark upon the trip with a delay or if you have to cancel the trip prematurely as a result of illness, accident or death, for example. ÖKK TOURIST SUBITO also pays a contribution towards the additional costs if you have to extend your trip.
Maximum CHF 10,000 for individuals and CHF 20,000 for families per event.
When extending a trip, a maximum of CHF 700 per person is covered.
Luggage
The insurance covers the costs worldwide resulting from the theft, loss or damage to personal luggage. All items that you take on the journey for your own person necessity are insured. The insurance does not cover cash, tickets, souvenirs, gifts etc.
Maximum CHF 4,000 for individuals and CHF 10,000 for families per event.
The insurance does not cover illnesses and consequences of accidents which were already known before embarking on the journey or whose treatment was foreseeable by the insured person. ÖKK TOURIST SUBITO supplementary insurance only covers those costs that are not covered by basic insurance.

ÖKK TOURIST SUBITO is a flexible and customisable addition to your basic insurance for single trips which you would like to enjoy with peace of mind. You get reliable cover for medical emergencies, unexpected cancellations, legal cases abroad and loss or theft of your luggage. You can choose exactly the benefits you need for your trip.
You can take out the appropriate insurance cover easily and at short notice online – valid worldwide for the desired duration of your trip. ÖKK TOURIST SUBITO is also available if you are not (yet) insured with ÖKK.
Questions and answers (FAQ)
This insurance may be concluded by all persons, without any age restrictions, who have compulsory health care insurance in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein and their legal place of residence in Switzerland or Liechtenstein. You can also take out ÖKK TOURIST SUBITO if you are (not) yet insured with ÖKK.
The policyholder listed on the insurance confirmation and their spouse/partner and children are insured, provided that they live in the same household as the policyholder.
With ÖKK TOURIST, claims are processed directly via our external partners European Travel Insurance Co. Ltd (ERV) and Coop Rechtsschutz.
- In the event of travel cancellations before starting the trip, incidents during the planned trip, and damage to or theft or less of your luggage, please contact ERV directly via the online forms linked.

ÖKK TOURIST SUBITO can be taken out on a daily basis and therefore is only valid for a certain period of time. ÖKK TOURIST is valid all year round. The benefits are basically identical, with one exception: the sum insured for cancellation costs is higher with ÖKK TOURIST.
