Preventative examinations
Preventative examinations help identify risk factors and illnesses before the actual symptoms or complaints occur. The earlier an illness can be identified, the easier it is to treat. Preventative examinations should be conducted at regular intervals.
Basic insurance
Prevention
One examination every three calendar years (taking into account the deductible and the excess)
Supplementary insurance
90%, up to CHF 300 per calendar year for check-ups and urological check-ups
Gynaecological preventative examinations90% of one examination per calendar year if basic insurance has not covered any costs for an examination in the current calendar year.
Health protection Health account: areas of family, nutrition, movement and other prevention50%, up to CHF 300 per area,
up to CHF 500 for all areas per calendar year
